Completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

The FAFSA is required for all to be eligible for Federal and State Aid. It is also a requirement of Giveback and all of our partner colleges to determine your financial need. The sooner you complete the FAFSA, the more aid you may receive.  If you have already completed your FAFSA application, please skip to step 3.
  1. Create your Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID at fsaid.ed.gov.
  2. Complete your FAFSA as soon as possible after January 1st, 2024.
  3. Log in below and provide your student aid index (SAI) to Give Back.  Our partner colleges use this number to calculate your financial aid package.
  4. If you are a NJ resident, please be prepared to attach a screen shot of your “NJ HESAA To Do List”

While you are waiting to hear back from colleges and universities about acceptances, start looking for local and independent scholarship applications. Many high schools have a list of exclusive scholarships limited to just students from that district. By now you may also have earned several micro scholarships in Raise.me.

Please use the lookup on this page to submit your FAFSA Confirmation with the SAI or FAFSA Submission Summary to Give Something Back.
