Food/Meals

Check with your local school district. Many districts are offering meals to students through a pick-up service at a central location. You can check with the high school district, or even the elementary school district in your area. Many meal services are available to students under the age of 18.

Lockport Area: The Lockport Fish Food Pantry, 1463 S. Farrell Road, Lockport, is open for business. If you need food stop in on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30am-11:30am.
Internet

Internet Essentials from Comcast/Xfinity (https://www.internetessentials.com/). Eligible families could apply online to receive two months of free internet service in response to the Coronavirus emergency.

You can still access Wifi from many local organizations if you are physically near the building, such as your School Building, Local Library, some restaurants, and other public facilities. Keeping your social distance, you can sit outside or in your car to access the Wifi.

United Way of Will County: https://uwwill.org/find-help/ The United Way of Will County provides information about various resources available in the community, from housing and food assistance, to financial, and even utility assistance.
