Yaniece Spencer

Yaniece S. Spencer, born and raised in Camden, N.J., was educated in the Camden City Public School System and one of the first charter schools in Camden. She graduated from Camden Academy Charter High School in 2005. Yaniece earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Delaware State University in 2008, followed by a Master's degree in Criminal Justice from Saint Joseph's University in 2012. Yaniece co-founded B.O.S.S. Mentoring, Inc., a program serving Camden City and surrounding areas with workshops, life skills, and career development through individual and group mentoring. She is recognized as a community leader.
An active member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., New Jersey Garden City Alumnae Chapter, Yaniece also participates actively in New Pilgrim Baptist Church in Camden, NJ, founded by her late grandfather, Pastor W. E. Whack. Additionally, she owns YSS Graphic Designs. Yaniece is passionate about empowering youth. She has worked in various roles within Camden and Philadelphia, dedicated to helping children become productive young adults in their communities.
