Rowan University, Class of 2021
Manny is a graduate of Oakcrest High School in New Jersey, where he was an outstanding student — taking honors and AP classes and maintaining an A average. He also was a member of the football team. Manny came to Give Something Back through the community-based organization, Friday is Tie Day, which encourages young men to wear ties to school on Fridays, and builds their character through male youth mentoring.
Manny is studying to be an athletic trainer and currently participates on Rowan’s track team to stay in shape and have fun. He works at a pizza place to make extra money and refers to his dad as his mentor and motivator. He enjoys playing chess with friends.
