Expectations for Career Scholars

Students are expected to:

  • Communicate with coach at least 2x/month

  • Meet with coach to complete Student Action Plan (SAP) 3x/year

  • Attend a minimum of 80% of events

  • Submit grades 2x/year

Submitting grade reports

  • Students are required to submit grades 2x/year (Jan & June).
  • Report cards or unofficial transcripts must include the student’s name and GPA.

Student Coach
Each student is assigned a staff member as their coach. Coaches and students work together from the time the student enters the program until the student starts their first career. Coaches help students set personal and academic goals, explore career options and post-secondary paths, and find a job in the student’s desired career field. National events are held virtually on Saturdays at the following times:
